The Best Craft Breweries in the Peak District
If you’re a craft beer fan then you’ll be very interested to learn all about the fantastic local breweries. In this guide we’ll be looking at some of our favourite breweries local to the Peak District and where you can drink their beers.

Thornbridge Brewery
Founded on the grounds of the Thornbridge Hall in the Derbyshire Dales in 2005, since then they have exploded in popularity to the point where their beers are available across the UK and in 35 countries as far afield as Brazil!

Peak Ales
Peak Ales offer a variety of different hoppy, bitter and seasonal beers including Chatsworth Gold, which is brewed with honey on the local Chatsworth Estate. Though Peak Ales beers can be found throughout the Peak District, perhaps our favourite pub selling their product is the Devonshire Arms in Buxton.

Eyam Brewery
The Eyam Brewery team relocated from London to the Peak District in 2011 and opened a real ale shop in Eyam in 2015. Nowadays you can find their beers throughout the Peak District.

Brampton Brewery
Brampton Brewery was a huge name in the brewing industry for well over a century, but was unfortunately forced to stop production in the 1950s. That lasted until 2007, when it was resurrected in the form of a microbrewery. Brampton Brewery continues to produce high-quality, award winning ales to this day. Brampton pubs can be found throughout the Peak District.

Bad Ram Brewery
Located at The Holiday Park in Buxton, Bad Ram Brewery is open for tours to the general public. Bad Ram beers can be found in pubs around Derbyshire along with their own pub, the ‘Callow Inne.’
