Cotton House is a very comfortable brand-new townhouse over three floors in a historic 18th-century mill complex that is now a key part of the Derwent Valley Mills world heritage site. It’s located on the Peak District borders a short distance from the High Peak Trail and Cromford Canal.
Lea Bridge is a perfect centre for hiking, cycling and visiting local beauty spots or heritage sites. Florence Nightingale and Alison Uttley (of Little Grey Rabbit fame) are two illustrious former local residents.
The house is arranged over three floors and overlooks John Smedley’s mill and the mill pond with a quiet road in between.
Some of the photos below were taken just after the house had been built, decorated and furnished, but before the finishing touches were all done. Newer pictures will be uploaded later in 2022.
